The story
Kate Oatley Flowers is a studio-based florist based on our family farm in the Wiltshire countryside, where the changing seasons, gardens and landscape provide endless inspiration.
Growing up on the edge of the Pennine Moors, I developed an early love of wild landscapes and the quiet beauty of nature. From the hedgerows and rolling fields of Wiltshire to the flowers growing in my own cutting garden, I’m drawn to the colour, texture and sense of abundance found in the natural world.
I’ve always been a keen gardener, and during lockdown I started building raised beds to grow my own flowers. What began as a lockdown project has grown into a real love of growing from seed, and I now use many of my homegrown blooms in my wedding flowers wherever the season allows. I also dry flowers throughout the year, giving them a second life in my workshops and floral creations.
Seasonal Flowers

I love having flowers around the house, and whenever the season allows, I bring blooms from the cutting garden into my wedding designs, adding something truly personal and homegrown. I also dry flowers throughout the year, giving them a second life in my seasonal workshops and floral creations.
Alongside my floral work, I host seasonal workshops from my potting shed studio, inviting people to slow down, get creative and enjoy the simple pleasure of working with flowers. Whether you’re commissioning flowers or joining me for a workshop, I want you to feel welcomed, inspired and relaxed, and to leave with something beautiful to remember.
